Jonathon is a healthcare IT entrepreneur and marketing professional who keeps sane through words and pictures. His is a centrist Democrat, believes in marriage equality, and takes every opportunity to vociferously defend his fellow disabled Americans. He also relishes every opportunity to teach interested audiences about life with Tourette's Syndrome.
With degrees from Carnegie Mellon and Boston University, Jonathon is a member of the National Press Club who has published on matters of business, diversity, religion and other miscellanea in outlets ranging from BusinessWeek and Ad Age to the Journal of Media & Religion. His greatest professional achievement came in 2009, when he was honored to serve in the Executive Office of the President of the United States and help redesign the federal government's hiring portal.
(In what seems like a past life, he was co-founder and chief editor of Citizen Culture Magazine.)
Jonathon has traversed these fine United States six times by car (thrice with his faithful road trip partner, Alfie the Jindo dog). He's convinced that a tragically large number of beautiful details go unnoticed daily. (Savannah, the Deep South, and the "flyover states" are particularly worth a visit.)
He's looking forward to marrying his fiancé, Mabel Aldrete, a year-to-the-day after their first date.
